Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow

Today I managed to finish the quilting on this small piece of fibre artwork.
It is a composition based on crazy quilting and incorporating dyed silk, multicoloured wooltops, gold braid as well as antique Indian braid and defined with a gold thread.
The wool was felted onto the silk by a felting machine and then overquilted with an ornamental stitch by machine.
It is yet to be completed with tabs for hanging.

  1. WOW! What beautiful work Suzy. What a talent you have to create such wonderful pieces. The colours are just so full of life and love and so different and unique. You give inspiration to sit down and start cutting and sewing, imagining just what can I do.
