Journal Pages and Dutch Irises

Another fabric Page for my journal - This was also collaged onto a very old and tattered cotton lace hankerchief (with a golden and fern green brocade fabric). The pieces here include some organza over synthetic golds, rust dyed silk, tea dyed damask linen, dyed mohair and finished with a lace motif.
This one has been partnered with the page below which I have embellished quite a bit more!
I couldn't resist showing you these gorgeous Dutch Irises flowering in the early morning sun. These are some of the first flowers of Spring in our garden - AND there will be many more to come!!!

And Dotti I would be pleased if you would like to tell your quilt guild about my blog - it is here for everyone to view. These paages - "mini art quilts" are A4 in size and when the journal is finished I shall make a slide show of it and place it here on the blog.
