Back Working on the New Journal

Just lately I have been really busy with visitors from interstate
holidaying here with us.
At one stage we had  9 people filling our home including friends and family.
It has been a most lovely time sharing stories, meals, shopping, marketing, some gardening, etc.etc.
so now that they have all departed I have had a chance to finish
my next page of
my Pre-Raphaelite women Journal
and have posted it here
BUT
Before doing so I would really like to thank everyone who has left such
kind comments on my blog over the past week or so
when I haven't been able to respond to them
SO
THANK YOU ALL SO MOST  SINCERELY
FOR YOUR SUPPORT
I hope to reciprocate very soon!!!
You are all so wonderfully thoughtful!!!

I would also like to say a very big THANK YOU to Lilla
for the beautiful Lace Dove
which I won in her Christmas Giveaway.
Lilla makes the most beautiful creations often with a French theme
using vintage laces and fabrics
and Lilla is so generous in sharing her techniques
with everyone.
THANK YOU LILLA!
(unfortunately Blogger would not co-operate with an image!)

  1. I was looking forward to seeing your new post. I have finished a very small 5 X 7 inch journal. I just had to try it after seeing all of yours. I was still in a cast through most of it, so it isn't the best. But now I want to make a bigger version. Need to find some of those great trims like you use.

  2. Judy it is just a matter of keeping your eye out for trims, beading, tassels that appeal to you as you will use what you love and are attracted to.

  6. Suzy, this is gorgeous! All those layers just make it.

I've been thinking about you and hoping you are far away from the awfully sad flooding....All of those people...so much tragedy and how long it will take them and your country to recover from this...

    Blessings, Diane

  16. Hi Suzi,
This is just layer after layer of yummy beauty! Someday I want my fabric collages to look as beautiful as yours. I am a real beginner, but I love creating them.
I read about your rescuing the young man after his accident, and I am sure that he was so glad to see you when you stopped to help. It was such a lovely gesture for his family to thank you for your kindness in such a manner. The good we do always comes back to us.
And it was so good of you to come by and wish me well.
    hugs
