A post brimming with beauty. The colours are lighting up this frosty lunchtime in my part of the world (Scotland) and bringing warmth to the heart with the rich, jewel tones.
Certainly romance, roses and hydrangeas are a few of my favourite things.

  16. Hello my dear sweet Suzy, I LOVE hydrangeas. They've always been one of my favorite flowers and yours have such wonderful soft shades.
If I ever get the chance to visit you, check if your pretty jug collection is still in place when I leave, LOL.
Your rose sachets are beautiful! I find it very difficult to sew organza. It seems to flow around and never stays were it should. You did such a great job!
Big hugs and warmest wishes to you,
    Julia

  20. Hi Suzy - the hydrangeas are simply gorgeous - love that color combination. Your sachets are lovely, too, with such beautiful complimentary embellishment. What beautiful braid (can't find that in Alaska. LOL) What it must be like in summer there. You have a lovely home with so much "eye" candy. PS, if and when you send jpgs to Liz, would you mind sending along to me? I would love to view more detail. Yahoo doesn't not do the work any justice - only "in person" for sure, but your pages look awesome. You are such a talented and beautiful artist. Thanks for sharing your life and your gifts. Love, Karen

  24. Love that you have shared so many of your "beautiful things"...treasures for sure and so beautiful. The hydrangeas are awesome, I have difficulty growing them here in my part of Canada but struggle. One of many has weathered our severely cold winters and I treasure that at least it has brought some joy...not nearly as beautiful as those you show, but treasured by me just the same. Hugs, Gayle.
