Valentine Fabric Art Cards and Valentine Fabrics

So often it is the image which inspires
the creation for me

but I have to say, also the fabrics and lace
which I can manipulate to frame
the image.

 This beautiful Vintage image
evokes "longing"

so a Valentine "Love's Longing" card was created
on a base of Vintage taffeta (from an old dress),
soft recycled cottons, burnout velvet,
silk and fabric laces
and
embellished with a Vintage
piece of Rhinestone jewellery.

♥♥♥♥♥

The base for this pretty flapper girl
on black card stock
is some linen,
recycled lace blouses

 and printed chiffon

and embellished with a some black appliqued leaves
on a gold mesh fabric with a simple gold
 fabric flower
.
These large cards are now for sale in my Etsy shop

♥♥♥♥♥
Due to popular request I have created more
Valentine rose, toile, ticking and fabric lace
fabric packs to my Etsy shop also

Since posting these fabric packs they are now all sold
however
I do have a limited amount of the rose fabrics left
but I do still have some larger amounts of that toile (strong red and white) and ticking available in different colors.

Thank you so much for visiting and leaving so many
kind comments.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

  2. Hello dear Suzy, good morning and happy Sunday...
I knew, it would cheer me up to visit you here... That's what I need after the assasination in France which terrified us all. (I have a giveaway on my blog even, just to relieve my heavy heart...)
I jumped right into your beautiful creations, those cheerful colours and the spirit they convey.
Thanks for inspiring me in such a positive way!
Take good care for you and your beloved ones! Hugs from Manu
