Simply Neutrals Tuesday No. 3

It is amazing just how quickly our next
Simply Neutrals Tuesday
has come around again with Wen as our host at

Everyone knows I have a passion for vintage and antique
laces so I am going to show you just a couple of
pieces that I purchased at a
flea market some time ago
and
I promise not to show my lace treasures every week
but I couldn't resist this beautiful piece -
it is completely hand made!

and these beautiful buttons, brooches and rhinestone pieces
which I purchased at the same time!

The handmade card was created for a dear friend
for which I made a handmade paper
and embroidered envelope.

A vintage lace pocket from one of my journals.

Lastly a bunting I created using French saints

An image of my Grandparents on their wedding day
can be seen in the background!

You too can join the party if you have any images
in neutrals, whites, creams, browns, silver
and grey that you would love to share here!

Enjoy! and thanks for coming to visit!
It is always lovely to hear from you!

  1. Hi, Suzy. I'm so glad I started my day by visiting your blog--always so cheerful and with such beautiful, creative work. The laces are to die for. On the other hand, making anything in neutrals seems foreign to me so I'll let you handle that end with your usual artistic panache!
    best, nadia

  2. Oh my how gorgeous these neutrals are again dear Suzy... Your card with the handmade paper envelope, wow that is so beautiful and looks so peaceful! The embroidered curls are such a beautiful finishing touch. I quite envy your machine being able to do such a beautiful stitch! I think I would put curls everywhere if I had one too, lol! Your bunting is divine, gorgeous layering and so peaceful too. And the beautiful pocket page of your book and the laces and brooches are so beautiful... A gorgeous post dear. Thank you so much for the shout out and for joining again! The link up will be available from Tuesday 00:30 CET. Sending you many hugs xxx

  17. Dearest Suzy, such a long time has passed again and I had not much time to go visiting in blogland. So I will not comment on every beautiful post of you that I have missed but admired today... Let me just tell you that I always love to read your posts, as they are full of a warm heart and friendliness - not to mention the beauty you create with just some pieces of fabric and lace...
You are one of my first addresses when I have the time to create but the mojo is not flowing at that very moment. I find so much inspiration here and I just simply want to thank you for that!
Hugs from Berlin where autumn reaches us with its abundance of colours... Have a pieceful and relaxing weekend, my dear!
