Bobbins and Books

Bobbins and books,
angels and feathers, pods and driftwood
are a few things shared here today

A beautifully understated wooden angel
nestled in amongst some vintage bobbins, seed pods
feathers and pieces of driftwood and dried grass

with a vintage shoe shaper or two

plus some special gathered feathers and

with some poppy seed pods gathered together

to create a pot pouri of natural neutrals.

Thank you Wendy for hosting this party once again
for all of us to enjoy and appreciate!

So if you are a lover of all things neutral in collections, artwork, photography then come on over to look at all the other
beautiful entries in this wonderful party.

Love and hugs,

  2. That lovely wooden angel looks so beautiful. Her patina is absolutely wonderful. Are those wooden 'sticks' with the metal coils on the ends used as shoe shapers? How interesting - I would have thought they were some sort of bobbin. I learned something tonight!

  3. Hello dear friend, -a beautiful neutral spot among all your other collections of lovely art and pieces. The poppy seed heads are some favorites of mine, too, as is feathers, and the old spools , ..but I think it is no secret for us, that we have so many things in common about, things we love and care for.
This was a lovely post dearest Suzy, thank you, and a wonderful rest of the day to you, sweetie.

  4. Gorgeous collections of beauty, Suzy. Isn't it amazing how the driftwood is different on various beaches? I guess different local trees drop their branches...

I see not everything is packed yet, you still have pretty things to show us :) Hope you are happy looking forward to your next adventure.
    Hugs,
    Jesse

  15. Suzy I was wondering what you were going to do with your beautiful goats. So great they are being able to stay right where they are accustomed to living. This probably makes you feel better about leaving them also.

I really enjoy looking at the Simply Neutrals and going to the other blogs. I have found some new "friends".

    Hugs
