One World - One Heart 2011

One World One Heart

Photobucket
was created by Lisa Swifka in 2007 as an event hosted to connect bloggers with one another around the world.  Each blogger who participates hosts a giveaway as a little gift for popping by.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I really welcome all visitors especially those visiting for the first time.  I am a fabric/fibre artist as well as a crazy patchworker who
loves to work with rich and exotic fabrics.

I live in the land downunder and you can read my whole profile by
clicking "About Me"
on my sidebar.

If you would like to be included in the draw to win a gift
 including a fabric collaged card
made by me,
a vintage tapestry purse with leather and
swede pocket as well as a number of vintage doilies
just leave me a comment below.
Being a Follower or not
your comments are truely appreciated -
the only condition being
that you have an active blog of your own.

I will draw a winning name for the prize
on 18th Feb.'11
This event is really about getting to know bloggers out there who would love to meet us
and vice versa
to share their creations
and make new friends and connections.
So lets all support Lisa in her wonderful generosity
in making this last One World One Heart event
a huge success!!
Love and thanks for sharing in this with me.

Completed Journal

My Pre-Raphaelite Women Journal
is now complete.
Actually it really looks a bit more like a picture book
with pages of layering and collaging.
I'm afraid there is no room left for journalling here!
Here are the front and back pages
I have used several tapestry fabrics here
plus laces, printed silks, and cottons.
The tassels are made from sari silk, scrim, lace and thread.

I have posted the first two inside pages here and have decided to
make a slide show of the whole journal for you to see in its completed form.
