Birthday Card, Silk Madonna Heart and Fabrics

I know you have seen this image on the front of
my Friendhsip Fabric and Lace book but
I just had to choose this
gorgeous image

once again to create a card
for my sister who is celebrating a special birthday soon!

This new Madonna heart has just gone into my

as it is time to be thinking of creating Christmas gifts once again!

At the same time I am continuing with my fabric sorting
and have 4 new packs of this lot in my shop now.

It is always difficult to convey the actual color as computers
vary so much!

In this pack you will find some lovely brocades,

 reversible curtain and polyester fabrics,

even some beautiful machine embroidered corduroy

in a soft dark mushroom pink along with some crushed pink velvet.

Thank you for coming to visit me here and for your
such appreciated comments - always!

More luscious fabrics being sorted in my studio!

It's been another busy day in my studio
as I go through piles of gorgeous
fabrics that I am shedding!!!
I do hope they will be used in some really gorgeous projects
and
it would be wonderful to see just where and how
they are used by other fibre and textile
artists.
So in My Etsy Shop
(by clicking this link you will arrive in my Etsy)
today you will find this range of scrumptious
fabrics in shades of taupe, puce, mushroom pink
and lilac

as well as some of these rich golds, old golds,
browns and gold/black combinations.

I have combined these fabrics together here to create
a "mock" crazy quilt layout to give you an idea
of how they might look together.

The colors sadly are not true to form because to my eye
they combine more beautifully in real life
in their richness!

I also have quite a collection of beautiful
patchwork cottons. If any of you are interested in these
then just let me know by email!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend as we are here!
Take care of each other!

Fabric Destashing and New Card

There comes a time
when you realize that there is just no way
we can use all that gorgeous fabric we have been
collecting over the years to create with whether
it be for crazy quilting, patchwork, collaging, cuffs etc. etc.

Shades of gold, black, greens and browns.

So I have decided to create some fabric packs which
are now selling in my Etsy Shop.
(Just click on the link above to go to shop).

This is a different color way which I have co-ordinated
in shades of pink and olive green.

So if you have a hankering for rich luscious fabrics then
come and see if any of these might appeal to you.

I am also happy to assist with a custom order if that is
more suitable for your artwork or sewing!!!

***** I am sorry that all the above fabrics have been sold
but I am now in the process of packing more so there
will be more in my shop soon!*****

vintage images.

I have just begun to create some fabric packs from my
large stash of vintage and exotic fabrics which
I hope to have in my Etsy shop very soon.
Let me know if any of you may be
interested in collecting any
of these too.

Thank you all for your continued interest in my work.
