You may remember me creating this journal
almost 12 weeks ago when we received
the news that my father
had passed on
so very sadly!
So I put this one aside for a time until I felt I could come back
to it as there was little left to do on it.
With all of these tombstone angel images I've used
it really has quite a gothic feel to it.
It is rich in tapestry fabrics, braids, strong but muted
shades with many layers of lace and doilies.
Every page has been embellished with many layers
and there are also lots of pages
left free for journalling.
I have just listed this in my Etsy shop
so if you would like more details about this one
please visit me there at:
and
at the top of this page.
I'm wishing for you a really happy and creative weekend -
be kind and gentle to yourself and all those
around you!
Such a huge Thank You to every new follower
on my blog here
and I do hope you enjoy the ride!
Love Suzy xxx

ReplyDeleteThis is exquisite Suzy. When I visit my son in London I often walk to see a Victorian churchyard near his home. It has been left in it's original state and I love it.The stonework is broken and tattered just as in yuour pictures.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful journal, Suzy. I see I'm not the only one to think so, as it's sold already! I love the gothic feel to it. I'm a fan of statues, and am fascinated with gargoyles, so the wonderful angels are very appealing. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs

It's fascinating to visit an old cemetery and see the wonderful carvings. It's amazing what they could do with the tools they had in the day. Your journal pays beautiful tribute to that.
