In keeping with the pre-raphaelite theme I have made this bag using crushed velvets, silk, satin and batik with heaps of different threads, braids and fringing.Add caption
Good morning Vicki - thank you so much for your lovely comment. We are both fine and really looking forward to Spring - all of the roses are now shooting and we have done heaps in the vegi in preparation for Spring planting! Hope life is treating you well also! Talk soon! Love Suzy
The Bag is fabulous Suzy... I've often envisioned creating one of my Bags out of an old damaged Victorian Crazy Quilt... but to date have not yet found one that I had a Peace about chopping up and repurposing! *le sigh* Yours obviously are made from scratch and perhaps that is a direction I should consider... using my Antique Quilts as inspiration and a Muse for the stitches and style the Bag will evolve into?
Thank you so very much for stopping here to say hello and to see what I have been creating. I really treasure each and everyone of you for your comments. It is so appreciated....Suzy
