You may remember a couple of posts back
that I had on my table a number of
materials inc. braids, silks, laces
and some vintage Rajasthan fabrics
well I decided to make
just a small journal
and here
are
some glimpses of how
Each opened page
will have a theme of colour tonings
and a few written words.
Those beautiful vintage fabrics are so colourfully
embroidered
and truely reflect the culture of India.
Just a reminder also not to forget to enter my
GIVEAWAY
for a chance to win
one of three prizes -
it finishes on
Wed. 27th April.
Wishing everyone, especially all of the many new followers
who have joined me over the last week,

Suzy, these are all beautiful combinations. I think my favorite is the turquoise and brown. And then the photo under that one! I wouldn't actually be able to choose!
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with you. I am enjoying looking at your beautiful collaged card! I've already used a bit of the salmon colored lace you sent me on one of the tags I made yesterday. :-) It felt good to be crafting again. The doctor applauded my own makeshift splints on my broken thumb! He said the one they gave me in the hospital would have gotten caught on things, as it was too cumbersome. But what he would have given me would have been even up to my wrist for just an end-of-thumb break. I was so happy that he approved because my "contraption" gives me more mobility!
OK...off to the studio! I hope you have a nice rest of Sunday!
Hugs, Diane
The fabrics, laces, colors are so richly beautiful. I just love your work!

That journal is beautiful, I love the lace and different fabrics and also love that you have used 'scraps' that otherwise might have been tossed away. I also love your blog and the rose photo in your blog header. I would love a chance to be the new minder of your journal - thank you
