A Few Last Creations for 2014

Hello dear Bloggers!

I hope that your Christmas was filled with all the

 

things you were hoping for along with a little rest and time

with your loved ones.

I know I am late with this post

due to the fact I was so busy filling orders in my Etsy shop

but I thought I might

share a few cards, collages and tags

which I created for various friends and family

for Christmas.

There was even a Birthday card created in there in December too!

 

Finally another Angel card and an Angel collage.

Well I think that will be all the Angel and Madonna cards,

collages and tags that I will be creating for a few

months to come and next I will be able to

share with you some gifts that I

received from friends

over Christmas.

As this will be my last post for the year I wish to sincerely

thank you all so much for your visits and

for leaving such kind and encouraging comments  -

I am just so grateful to you for allowing me into your own worlds and for enriching my life so very much!

The friendships gained have been very precious indeed

as well as all the sharing and inspiration!!!

Wishes for a Blessed and Peaceful Christmas

It's only a few days to go now before

we celebrate the birth of Christ

with "Christmas"

and I wish to send everyone and especially my blog readers

wishes from our heart and home

Ethereal Angels

With very little effort suddenly

finished

on my worktable are these two cards

with the most beautiful angel images that I just discovered!

 More layers of frothy chiffon and laces under and over
the images they go!

Sunshine after Rain brings a New Angel Creation

In my last post I mentioned that we were having

rain and thunderstorms - well after

9 inches of constant rain

over 24 hours

the creek on our property was flowing flat out 

 

The roar of the water from our back door

sounded like a freight train passing through!

Most of the time this water remains at just a trickle. 

 

 

and after the rain comes a cacophony of frog sounds 

as the sun starts flooding in

- such an amazing view from our

garden room

with newly transplanted rose bushes now steaming ahead 

 

in the company of the white Wisteria and lilac Clematis!

 

 The sunshine accentuates the vividness of the green 

ornamental Grapevine along the verandah

and

the beautiful Ornamental Manchurian Pear trees.

 

 Everything is feeling so fresh and renewed again

filling the plants and trees with new found energy

in readiness for the long

Summer ahead.

 

 Hopefully many an evening over Summer

will be spent under this grapevine

as we start to tie our vine curtains back to let

in the light once again!

   

 

From my studio the Angel "Messenger" has been created.

 

 

She's now available for sale in my Etsy.
