I'm sure there are lots of bloggers as busy as myself
at the moment creating gifts for Christmas
and
these are just a few completed.
Seeing that there's still plenty of time to send a card
I've added more to my Etsy shop as these have
proved to be very popular!
Both are of the Madonna and Child - this one!
as well as this more colorful one below
I'm very fond of the beautiful textural burnout and silky velvets
used here with chiffon and vintage laces
with a couple of added stars.
I've also added this sweet little Christmas angel ornament influenced
by my reading of Jeanne d'Arc Living.
with many layers of frothy vintage laces and pearls.
For something a little different - this clutch
I created from two cut lace doilies, a linen napkin,
vintage laces, wedding lace, suffolk puff
and finishing off with
a pearl embellishment.
This would also make lovely gift for the bridesmaid
or it could accompany any wedding outfit
or even be used as a keepsake
for
those precious pieces of jewellery or special finds.
So that's it for today and I will be back soon!
So nice to be sharing all this with you.
Take care of each other and yourself too!
xox Suzy

Oh Suzy, such a delightful post. I hope my comments are not duplicated. I don't see where the first went thru. I love hearts, but today I had to order your lovely Madonna. A special "Little Treasure". I barely have time to visit but it was a great coffee break. Have a fun week.
ReplyDeleteDearest Suzy, they are so very beautiful, and the one in blue tones is my very favorite, I love the materials you used for that card, and the lovely image .
ReplyDeleteYour Jeanne d'Arc Living inspired heart is so adorable, with layers on layers and the pearls added, and someone will look so beautiful in her bridal dress, with your clutch in her hand.
I also have to tell you that I think your dried roses are amazing looking even they faded a bit in colours!
Hugs to you, and love from me- have a beautiful day, dear.
