It's that time of year when bloggers who love
to create artworks for the Festive Season
start putting their ideas into action
and
here are a few projects which
I have just completed.
Firstly is this Jeanne d'Arc inspired art angel paper
and lace doll decoration
which may be used as a Christmas tree or mantel decoration
or even be left hanging on your wall or favorite place
throughout the year.
She has been decorated in several layers of vintage laces, white
chiffon, broderie anglaise lace and embellished with a pearl
colored sari ribbon sash, seam binding and a pearl applique
backed with a glittery snowflake
ready to hang.
♥♥♥
Two more greeting cards with soft lace accents,
music paper and painted water color paper.
These are now up for sale in my Etsy Shop.
It is great to share these images
and
it is an even greater thing that you take the time to leave
a comment - thank you so much for your generosity!

It's so good to see you back creating again Suzy. Such gorgeous Festive works of art.
ReplyDeleteYour creations are heavenly. I love them and am so glad some are on their way to me in the mail. I know they will be outstanding cards for Christmas and beyond. Thank you for sharing what you make. Peace and Blessings
ReplyDeleteOh Suzy, you create such beauty! The angel, gloriously attired in all that lace, with sweet little embellishments, and those cards with the sweetest images so perfect for Christmas. No wonder those beautiful cards sold instantly.
ReplyDeleteI've been making festive bunting for the charity shop I volunteer at and one of the ideas that popped into my head when I was cutting out the angel shape was similar to your angel in the first pic! I haven't done that one particularly for the bunting but, to stand on the counter or hang on the wall.
ReplyDeleteYours is much more refined than mine lol! What's a girl to do with all those laces, trims, ribbons and card anyway? xx
Love your cards too, so easy on the eye than some I've seen in the shops.
I guess your home looks wonderfully dressed at Christmas?
Keep up the good work, hugs xxx
