Hello my friends!
Yes I'm still here and finding my way through the door
to my new studio space! It does feel strange
but slowly it is becoming my new place to create
and feel inspired by all the familiar items that represent
my heart's desire!
I feel as if I have been on a long journey
where I had lost my creative heart for a bit
searching and salvaging for the bits and pieces
to put it back together after
the upheavel of moving and relocating
but slowly the jigsaw is coming together!!!
and it feels so good to be in that zone again!
so today I'm joining in the Simply Neutrals Tuesday
party at Apple and Apricot Blog with Wen
You can find this available in my on-line
by clicking on the link.
Thank you everyone for being so patient and coming to
visit me here once again after such a long pause!
♥♥♥
I have also completed this new Fabric Journal
which I will share soon and which will also be available
for sale.
Sending you all love and kind thoughts and hoping to
visit you all again soon!

Welcome back! So glad you are seeing the light after the move. I don't care what anybody says, moving is traumatic even if it's something you really wanted to do. Much of what was familiar is now either gone or changed and it takes time to create a new normal.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you have your groove back haha
ReplyDeleteIt is so inspirational to see your work again
The piece I won from you a couple years ago still hangs on my wall in my eating area of my kitchen, where I have other art works on display
I see you are back to your wonderful creating, lovely work. How is the new house? xox

lovely way to convey the changes of the heart upon a move... I know the turmoil so well, and I am hoping we stay put for a while, no matter how beneficial the move, the transformation is always there... xoxo
ReplyDeleteLovely as always! Glad your getting your Creative Wings Again!
ReplyDeleteYou are the sweetest! Suzy! Life gets busy, we move forward, we pace ourselves, and create again. I love these pieces you have posted. Moving to another house we already own is on our horizon, maybe in the next year. We have been in this house for 34 years, our kids grew up here, so there are many memories. And my children grew up being creative from the start. I even taught my boys how to, sew, cook, and clean house, and they can crochet and mend their own socks! Yep! Home is where the heart is!
