Angels for Christmas - 50th Celebration of SNT

Now we all know that we need angels
in our lives to lift us up
and
give us our wings to fly.
They are always around us guiding us and showing us the way!

I wanted to share these angels I created three years ago which
were recently published in the Winter Edition
of
 Crazy Quilt Quarterly magazine.

I share there a little tutorial on how I created these.

I once again created several more recently which
I listed in my Etsy

At the time of creating this post
there were these two girls left
but now I see just one remains!

The inspiration for these creations came from
my friend Lilla Levine. Lilla has been
sharing her beautiful French creations on her blog
now for many years with videos that you can
follow along with also.

This month is the celebration of
which is where I am sharing my post. So please
pop over there and look at all the wonderful entries this month
along with a wonderful giveaway from our hard working
and very talented host, Wen.

♥♥♥♥♥

Many thanks always for your lovely visits and
for the kind comments that you leave.
I really appreciate that so much!

Love to you all! xxx  Suzy

  1. Oh, Suzy, your angels are simply divine! Especially the very top one, she's my favourite. No wonder they are disappearing fast. What a lovely idea for Christmas. The magazine spread looks so beautifully done - you must feel very honoured.
    Wishing you happy Spring days.
    Hugs,

  5. Hello to you Suzy~
Your spread in Crazy Quilts magazine is fantastic!! I'm so glad many others will be able to see & read of your 'glorious' angels~
I do remember some of them from your past post, and they are a true work of art. Your vintage textiles and authentic style pair so beautifully, it's no doubt they disappear so quickly from your Etsy.
So here it is the 50th Simply Neutrals Tuesday! I have not been around for all of them, but the last 2 years I think. SNT and the friends there have played a key role in my creating. You all have opened my eyes to new ideas and techniques; you've taught me much in the art of crafting, and most of all, you have encouraged and supported me thru so much!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead! Hugs to you, karen o
