Greeting Cards

I often get asked to create
"one of a kind" cards for special occasions.
So today I'm sharing a few that I have completed recently.
These ones have been sold but am always happy
to create these on request.

I have chosen some of my favourite images

mounted them onto water colour paper

collaged with fabric, paper, laces and buttons

and embellished with more lace motifs.

I'm linking these to Becky's
so go and visit her beautiful blog.

Thank you so much to you all for the lovely comments you
left on my last post about my birdsnests and bells!
and to all of my wonderful supportive
followers!

I hope the sun is shining in your part
of the world wherever you are!
Enjoy!

  4. Suzy you cards are beautiful works of art! These are lovelier than any gift could be. You have made each one so unique with the beautiful bits you collect.

I absolutely loved the previous post about your nests. Such a perfect vignette you have made with them. Dale and I cut back all of our forsythia bushed last week because they had gotten so overgrown and he found me a darling little finch nest and brought it in for me. I thought that was so sweet of him. Most of the nests around our garden are made of the usual twigs and such, but because we have the horses, they all have a lot of horse hair woven in them. The other day we were outside and I saw a bird sitting on one of our horses backs pulling hair from the horses mane. It was so funny to see how patient the horse took it all :)
I hope your fall is starting out beautifully and that all is wonderful with you!
    much love...

It is so lovely to actually be able to visit you this day, here I am ready to savour all the incredible details you bring together in each creation.
The photographs are so stunning it is as though I can reach out and actually feel the textiles on each card and then there are those sumptuous images.
