Sold Collage Card

Yesterday I sold this card in my Etsy Shop

so I thought I might add 2 or 3 more similar

crazy patchwork collage cards

which could be used either as

gift cards

or

they could be framed also

so they may appear in my shop very soon!

Summer Garden Colour

Parts of Australia at present are under water

particularly in Queensland

which is very sad for many families and farmers there

but where I live near the South coast in

New South Wales

we are more lucky and are having very cool even drizzly

Summer weather which takes the load off watering

when you have quite a large garden.

So

here we are feeling quite blessed at present and are having a

bounty of beautiful vegetables and flowers to pick.

These guys visit just about all year here

and this is the

male King Parrot - How gorgeous is his colour.

This is a view from our kitchen window

looking out on to an outdoor area where we spend half of our living

inside/outside.

Not sure how this photo got in here but this is a shot of some of

our girls who keep us in eggs throughout the year. 

A very happy and contented life for chooks!!!

 There are a few different areas to sit in the garden

providing Summer shade and spots to view

heaps of bird life.

And all of the beautiful shades of
Summer colour!

Back Working on the New Journal

Just lately I have been really busy with visitors from interstate

holidaying here with us.

At one stage we had  9 people filling our home including friends and family.

It has been a most lovely time sharing stories, meals, shopping, marketing, some gardening, etc.etc.

so now that they have all departed I have had a chance to finish

my next page of

my Pre-Raphaelite women Journal

and have posted it here 

BUT

Before doing so I would really like to thank everyone who has left such

kind comments on my blog over the past week or so

when I haven't been able to respond to them

A New Year's Message

As I was driving home along a country dirt road

just before Christmas

I came across a car accident which had just happened.

On the side of the road and

standing in a paddock next to a car on its roof

was a very distressed but unharmed young man.

He was a victim trying to avoid a crash.

As I lived quite close to the scene

I took this young man home

so that we could help him to make arrangements about the car etc.

as anyone would.

and

as Christmas Day approached so too did this young man, Dale

came knocking at our door with his father bearing a gift of gratitude. 

Thus came this wonderful act of kindness out of the blue

without any sense of expectation.

Aren't we surrounded by wonderful human beings

who can give and take

and establish a system of real humanity

actually based on kindness!

and

May happiness, inspiration and creativity
