For the rose lovers out there who just love everything
romantic that goes with roses
I have gathered together
some packs
of pretty cotton rose fabrics
that you may wish to incorporate into your
quilting, applique, mixed media, scrap booking projects
or
any other project you can imagine!
Included in the pack is a selection of
cotton rose prints and paisley prints
some ticking and toile in deep red and white
as well as some shell pink broderie anglaise
and cotton laces.
I have 4 of these packs made up and they are available
in my Etsy shop.
At the time of posting I now have only 1 pack left!
They have gone from the shop it seems
in an instant from advertising!

Also in my shop is this new Heart Collage
broderie anglaise, mocha lace fabric,
chiffon, a beautiful old
doily
and embellished with a sweet vintage key
dangling from a dyed scrim bow.
The pocket on the front is trimmed with taffeta,
sari ribbon and vintage lace fabric
in co-ordinating colors.
The front flap over the pocket can be lifted
to reveal the words printed -
"The key to my heart"
and the pocket carries a sweet vintage
postcard which says
"With Love" - the words being made up of
roses! How unusual is that!
So there we have it - a special post for the
"Rose Romantics" - could that be you?

ReplyDeleteRoses must be in the air right now, because my current project is rose-themed too. You have such pretty rose fabrics - too pretty to actually use (at least in my books!).
ReplyDeleteit's so strange...I don't like the color pink and not crazy about roses but I LOVE rose chintz...it's just so beautiful as are your color combinations.

ReplyDeleteYou would have laughed at me last night. I was actually starting a fabric sewing project and had no clue what fabric remnants I even had. I pulled down all of my fabric bins from the top shelf of the closet and started doing a happy dance! Woo Hoo and Yippee, I found so many beautiful fabrics I've been keeping for just this project. sigh I guess it's good to stash for a rainy day, right?
