There really is something special
about creating hearts and with hearts -
whether from paper, lace, fabric, textiles, felt or
whether from paper, lace, fabric, textiles, felt or
a medium of your choice.
I have created these ones from a deep rich
burgundy felt adding vintage laces
and mop as well as vintage buttons
which I have created as pockets to hold a tag
on a background of little remnants of rose fabrics, chiffon
and embroidered netting.
These little collages have been added to cards
and I have added some sweet vintage images to the tags
which have space on the back for adding a little
message.

There are two styles here - this one being similar
but not the same
and they are both available for sale
in my Etsy shop.
These little projects are keeping me so busy with less time
available for visiting blogs
but
I hope to catch up this weekend with returning the
beautiful comments you have all been leaving
here when you visit!
I am so very grateful to you all!!!
Have a beautiful weekend keeping love in your hearts!

Suzy, you work MAGIC with the little bits and pieces!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness dear Suzy, I don't know where to start. I'm so behind! You've made so many stunning works of art in my absence that I'm blown away... Too many posts to comment on them all, lol. But I love all of them. All those gorgeous and yummy laces and fabrics and beads... And these cards with the ladies peeking from behind the hearts are precious! And oh, the rose fabrics you had in your etsy store (such a shame I'm too late!!!), they are so gorgeous. At the moment I'm working on a fabric / mixed media book with roses and seeing your roses, I think I need to go on rose-fabric hunt now! Sending you big hugs and wishing you a wonderful 2015! xx
ReplyDeleteOMG, can you imagine receiving a gorgeous card like this on Valentine's Day? They are so beautiful.
