You might remember a few posts back I was making some pages for my fabric art journal??!!
Well here it is again, below, now larger with more embellishments and the corresponding page (just finished) has a piece of muslin in the centre which I will use for my journal notes. I was thinking that I might get a pen and hand write some notes of significance here. I haven't yet decided on a theme for the journal - I'm just seeing where it takes me! But the whole process is allowing me to try some new techniques. I have even used here a hankerchief of my mother's which i have embellished.

Wow i enlarged the photo and those pages are amazing Suziqu and what a wonderful idea of using your mothers hankerchief....i cant wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. I have a couple of old lace hankies that are too thin to be used as intended. Maybe I can incorporate them in my stitching. Thanks for adding so much beauty.
ReplyDeleteHi Jen and Dian - Yes Yes Yes Dian using a very old hankerchief like this actually preserves it and you can look at and appreciate it more where you can see it.
