ReplyDeleteIt's not your fault people can't post Comments on your last blogpost! It's Blogger's Glitch.

This damasq cloth is really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have not been to a quilt and craft fair for a few years now, because of where we live, but it was always the highlight of the year for our craft group in years past. Where the Queensland one is held there is a row of ATM's outside the venue which is deadly, so all good intentions go out the window, which means lots of things just creep into the purchase list...
Wow Suzy - what I find.
ReplyDeletelots of love

Suzi, I love the pieces you picked up. Isn't it a joy to find lovely old linen in the op shops, and bring something home to live on in your home or your creations.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteBoth these posts are beautiful and the cloth is just lovely ... a real treasure to find!
Very best wishes,
barbara

Dear Suzy... so glad you found my Blog, felt right at Home and left such a sweet and flattering comment... honored that you felt it was 'Magnolia Pearlish' since Robin & John have greatly inspired and influenced me to move over to creating Fabric Art and definitely are kindred Bohemian Spirits. I have collected Robin's Bags for years and love wearing her comfy clothing line of Bloomers... fits right in with my Gypsy and old Hippie sensibilities *wink* and other clothing I've always worn. I'm delighted to now have found your Blog, I'm ADORING your work and the types of fabrics you enjoy also make me swoon... I enjoy working with Vintage and Antique fabrics in my Art also... they just don't make 'em like that anymore.
